Wisdom I Received Beyond My Years
When you’re younger sometimes you don’t listen to your elders, but are there consequences when doing that?
Earlier this year I got to hear Rich Thawley speak live. I never heard of him until a close friend called me and invited me to this business event since they knew he was a man of character and they just read my article “Moving From Charisma To Character” and thought I would resonate with him. When I heard Rich speak I got so excited because he was dropping knowledge bombs left and right along with wisdom grenades! I took pages and pages of notes and couldn’t believe how much wisdom he poured into the audience.
I actually never re read my notes from the event until a few months later when listening to an Art Williams audio on youtube that made me think of the day I got to learn from Rich. WOW what a mistake not re reading those notes were! Here are a few extra quotes I didn’t put in the video but that were awesome from the event!Behavior leads to habit. Habit creates character. Is there someone that you heard speak that had a huge impact on you and maybe forgot to take notes on? Maybe a pastor, a teacher or speaker? If so I encourage you go back and take notes from that event and then re read your notes and write some action items from there. If there isn’t a recording of it just be prepared for the next time with pen and paper in hand.
Did This Help You? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you commented below and shared on Facebook
