The Happiest Place To Be
I have some maniac friends that are OBSESSED with a certain place and they will share all about their experience at this theme park until they are blue in the face. Wanna know what they’re so passionate about talking about? DISNEYLAND!
Did I catch you off guard? I hope so! But Disneyland just celebrated their 60th year anniversary July 17th, 2015 and my social media was flooded with so many people that went to celebrate this milestone in the company at the theme park. We even have family friends who have been working there for over 20+ years and love it and expressed how they got bonuses from the company as a thank you! Every time I go I try and see if I can get on more rides than I did the previous time but the older I get the less rides I actually make it to haha BUT let’s dive into how disneyland even came about. It was because of Walt Disney. The man is a straight INSPIRATION. If you don’t know his story you can read more about it HERE but today we’re gonna dive into his mindset on how he became successful.
Most people probably didn’t know that he was fired by a newspaper editor because “he lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” After that, Disney started a number of businesses that didn’t last too long and ended with bankruptcy and failure. He kept plugging along, however and eventually found a recipe for success that worked. When he made this opening speech for Disneyland how to you think he felt?
I can’t put it into words but this picture sums it up great!
Let’s use this milestone that Disney just had for our own motivation to build a dream life and make a positive impact on this world. Walt Disney is a success, has left a legacy, worked hard, never compromised this vision, and has given life changing experiences to everyone that has been to “the happiest place on earth”
Stay awesome, be blessed and keep bettering your best!!
